I almost deleted this image from my thousand of Cuba photographs, because the girl’s face was a bit out of focus :(. Later, while re-visiting these old files, I found that I really like the face expression of the old lady on the right. Here’s a close-up. I love the way she warmly and humbly watches over the girl. I’m not sure if she is a nanny, grandma or just even a neighbor, it does not matter – because I see the love, it’s so natural, organic and true. Dear friends, Recently, a sad news hit me deeply. Humberto – who’s a talented artist, great tango dancer, loving father of the 14-month-old boy, and husband to my dear friend Elena, who’s also an inspiring artist with most beautiful soul – had a heart attack, and he’s facing heart surgery which would take a long way to recover. Hello 2017!

Happy (belated) New Year Everyone! I hope all had a lovely festive time. I wanted to start the first post of the year with something joyful… So I picked this one – a lady, dancing to the Cuban music with a big smile in the street of old Havana. Love her genuine smile.
